Vanguard Announces Monthly Cash Distributions for Vanguard ETFs - February 2020

Hey Guys,

As you know, I'm a 100% ETF investor and one of the things I look forward to every month is when monthly cash distributions get announced from BMO and Vanguard.

Friday afternoon, Vanguard announced their monthly distributions for their line-up of ETFs.

I've also compared the February 2020 distributions to January 2020 for a month over month comparison.  You have to keep in mind that investing is a long game, these distributions should go up over time with short-term fluctuations.

The one big standout for me this month is VDY, with a whopping $0.16 cash distribution up from $0.089 last month.  Vanguard isn't as consistent with their monthly / quarterly payouts as BMO, this makes it harder to forecast the next distribution.  This isn't necessarily a bad thing, as long as the payouts are growing Year over Year, which is key for Dividend Growth Investing.

If you are a unitholder for the above listed ETFs at close of business on March 02, 2020, you will receive cash distributions that will become payable on March 09, 2020.  If you use Questrade like I do, the cash distributions will show up in your account on March 10, 2020.

If you received a raise this month, Congratulations! 👍
